Trials to Trades is a pioneering program born from the vision of Homeless to Homeowner, a non-profit dedicated to assisting individuals facing homelessness in acquiring their own homes or receiving home assistance. While Homeless to Homeowner focuses on providing housing solutions, Trials to Trades takes this mission a step further by equipping women, especially those from marginalized backgrounds, with the tools and skills to not only secure housing but also thrive in non-traditional industries like construction and transportation.

 

This initiative is particularly tailored to address the needs of underrepresented women, including women of color and those with criminal records seeking a second chance. By offering a comprehensive curriculum, specialized training, and necessary certifications, Trials to Trades empowers participants to overcome obstacles and pursue meaningful careers in fields traditionally dominated by men.
